Those of the'public who, for various reasons, were unable to attend the performance of “Lucky Dip’’ by the LittleTheatre Society last week are fortunate in the society’s decision to make a repetition of the performance, its contribution towards Recreation Week. It was at first proposed that the society should contribute an evening of oneact plays. The performance of “Lucky Dip,” however, created such a favourable impression, that the Recreation Week Committee has been insistent in its requests for repetition. The evening allotted to the Little Theatre Society is Saturday next, where those who missed the previous production will have the opportunity of making good their loss. Apparently, also, large numbers of those who saw the performance lasi week were so well delighted with it, that they intend to seize the opportunity of seeing it again. As the charge for admission is to be a uniform one of Is, it is anticipated that the Opera House will b: crowded on Saturday evening.

The play will' be interpreted by the same capable cast as gave last week’:performance. Saturday evening's performance will, however, no doubt benefit from previous experience, and should therefore, if possible, be even more successful than the previous one. In the hope, at all events, of improving an already meritorious representation. members of the cast are again assiduously rehearsing, under the direction of their energetic producer, MrsRich.
