The British freighter Browning has arrived at Bahia, with thirty-two survivors of the crew of the British steamer Royal Sceptre. The Royal Sceptre was sunk by an enemy submarine and her crew of 32 were cast adrift in their boats “without possible hope of reaching land.’’ Making that statement the British Ministry of Information denounced the deed as one of foul piracy.
