NAVAL BATTLE?
REPORTED OFF COAST OF NORWAY.
SEVERAL WARSHIPS SIGHTED
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day. 10.35 a.m.) BERGEN, September 25. A furious naval battle is reported to have been in progress off the Norwegian coast from dawn. Several warships were sighted.
Daventry also announces that a naval engagement is reported to have occurred on the Norwegian coast. Many German trawlers are reported to have taken refuge in Norwegian waters. The report is not confirmed.
