WARDER INJURED & PRISONER SHOT IN LEG.

Prisoners in the Hobart Gaol attacked and damaged prison property during a demonstration. A. warder was taken to hospital with serious head injuries. A prisoner was shot and wounded in the leg.
The disturbance was quelled without outside help. Many of the gaol windows were broken.
