* PUBLICATION OF LETTER TO HITLER. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. SIMLA, September 6. Mr Gandhi has revealed that he sent a letter to Herr Hitler on July 23, as follows: — “You are the one person in the world able to prevent war which may reduce humanity to savagery. I appeal to you to avoid war and settle differences in other ’ways.”
