MASTERTON CLUB MEETING. ADDRESS BY MR BRUCE LEVY. An informative address on a tour of Europe and the British Isles was given at last night’s meeting of the Masterton Young Farmers’ Club by Mr E. Bruce Levy, of MasCollege. Mr Levy iliw W MVjflhustrated his address with a He paid particular attention during his tour to the possibilities of obtaining improved strains of pasture grasses. In Belgium he saw an avenue of trees, including oak, beech, yew and fruit trees, which extended for 180 miles along the highway. On the motion of Mr G. Blatchford. he was accorded a hearty vote of thanks. The balance sheet for the annual dance disclosed a credit of £57 12s Bd, which was considered most satisfactory. A presentation was made by the chairman, Mr Don.Me Gregor, to Mr A. Southey, who is to be married.
