The British Air Force is at present reinforcing French squadrons in France. • NERVOUS & UNEASY — CIVILIANS IN BERLIN. ACCORDING TO RETURNING FRENCH OFFICIALS. (Received This Day, 11.10 a.m.) PARIS, September 6. Officials of the French Embassy in Berlin, on arriving said there were signs of acute nervousness and uneasiness among civilian Germans in the Reich capital shortly before they left Berlin. RATIONING RESENTED ANTI-GERMAN DISORDERS IN RUTHENIA. (Received This Day, 11.20 a.m.) BUCHAREST, September 6. It is reported that Hungarians at Huszt and other places in Ruthenia demonstrated against Germany because of general rationing. RIOTS IN VIENNA MAYOR THREATENS RUTHLESS ACTION. (Received This Day, 11.20 a.m.) VIENNA, September 6. The Mayor, admitting riots by Vienna women, stated that sporadic breaches of discipline had occurred and that the authorities will act ruthlessly against breakers of discipline.
