WRESTLING
SPECTACULAR BOUT. PINDER BEATS MARTINEZ. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. In a spectacular wrestling bout, little Prince Bhu Pinder, India, beat six-foot-four Ignacio Martinez, South America, by one fall, in the Wellington Town Hall last night. Pinder gave away at least a stone, and stood little taller than his opponent’s shoulder. His astonishing speed and agility enabled him to take the initiative throughout the bout, and to win the support of a considerable proportion of the large crowd. He took his fall in the fifth round with his specialty hold, the Indian crab, not previously seen in Wellington.
