Miss Q. Harrington has returned to Hukanui after a visit to South Canterbury. Mrs M. F. Robinson and Mrs E. H. Robinson are Foxton visitors to Masterton, and are staying at the Empire Hotel.

Mr and Mrs R. Burridge, of Masterton, who have been on a trip to England, expect to leave on their return in about a fortnight, reaching New Zealand in November. Miss Frances Rutherford, of the Christchurch, Art School, is spending the vacation in Masterton, staying with her parents, Mr and Mrs C. W. Rutherford, Tararua Street. She has been the chief guest at several parties given in her honour by friends in Masterton. Miss Rutherford will return to Christchurch next Monday.
