The "Daily Mail” expresses the opinion that the enormous financial strength of the banks guaranteeing the New Zealand conversion ensures that there will not be such market selling as accompanies underwriters shouldering their commitments. The banks probably took up ten millions sterling, but the actual amount is unlikely to affect market prices. Dealings at the start should not be erratic, business being anticipated slightly below the issue price of £99:
