NEW SUNDAY SCHOOL

KNOX CHURCH FACILITIES. OPENING NEXT WEDNESDAY. On March 9. 1938, Knox Sunday School was burnt to the ground and since then the session and managers have been busy replacing the building. The work of construction was under taken by Mr J. W. McKeon, who in spite of shortage of carpenters has almost completed the job. The block of buildings is substantially built and will adequately cater for the children of Knox congregation. ’ The opening ceremony will take place on Wednesday, August 16, at 7.30 p.m. when representatives of the town and district will take part. The dedication ceremony will be conducted by the Rev. A. A. Armstrong. Moderator of Presbytery, and the singing will be rendered by a choir of children trained by Mr A. Stubbings.
