PETROL PUMP ROBBED

MESSRS H. J. JONES & CO. LOSE SEVENTEEN GALLONS. About 17 gallons of benzine were removed from a petrol pump belonging to Messrs H. J. Jones and Co., Ltd., Mastertcn. last night. It is understood that police investigation is under way. The pump is located in the used car department at the rear of the garage and entry into the building was secured by forcing open the lock on a door. It is not known at what time the robbery took place. Although many people were about the streets until about 2 a.m., on account of the Charity Ball, and numbers of clients used the garage during the night for the parking of their cars, the robbery, was not discovered until this morning.
