When his attention was called in the House of Commons today to a suggestion that in the event of war temporary settlement might be found in Canada for infirm people and children evacuated from the danger areas, the Dominions Secretary. Sir Thomas Tnskip said he feared the difficulties in the way of any such scheme would be insu parable.

A recent report indicated that the Canadian authorities were considering the possibilities of aiding the evacuation of children from the United Kingdom in a war emergency.
