COMING=OF=AGE PARTY

GATHERING IN MASTERTON. Mr and Mrs G. Masters gave a parly recently to celebrate the coming-of-age of their daughter Freda. Over thirty young people were present from Wellington, Greytown and Masterton and a very enjoyable time was spent in games and novel competitions. A home made supper was very prettily set out and after the cake had been cut. Mr R. 11. Anker proposed the health of the “belle" of the evening which was heartily drunk with musical honours. Miss Masters responded with a happy little speech of thanks. The party closed with tho- singing of “Auld Lang Sync” and many cheers.
