MAHUNGA CLUB. STABLEFORD COMPETITION. I The following were the best scores in a ladies Stableford competition played on Saturday:—Miss Rudd 33 points, Mi’s Madsen 33 points. Miss Smith 31 points, Miss Goodall 31 points, Mrs Hendry 30 points. The following were the best cards returned for the Stableford Bogey Competition played on Saturday: —A. O. Jones 36, R. F. Buick 36, R. Hendry 33, E. Jenkins 32, G. R. Ward 31, J. G. McFarlane 30. The winner of the competition for 6 golf balls was R. B. McPherson.

PLAY IN CHAMPIONSHIP CONTEST.
On Saturday, in rather cold weather, the second qualifying round of the club championship was played by the members of the Riverside Club. The players qualified in the following order: —

Men's intermediate championship: G. Beecroft, V/. Palamontain, V. Taylor. S. Onion, J. Wakelin, R. Hatch, J. Carruthers, S. Wyatt, F. Shearer, A. Carstens, B. Larsen, R. Wellington, R. Wearne, A. Clarkson, .A. Dixon, B. Braggins. Men’s junior championship: F. E. Wells, H. Orrell, F. Dwyer, M. Finlayson, H. Knox, M. Manson, H. Clarkson, W. Gilliland, W. Gemmell, S. Pye, C. Anderson, T. Longworth, L. Cross, Rex Riley, R. Casties.
Ladies’ senior championship: Mrs Rawlins, Miss Bradley. Mrs J. Clarke, Mrs Palamontain, Miss Bampton, Mrs Jones, Miss Wood, Miss Mahood. Ladies’ intermediate championship: Mrs Naan, Mrs Skeet. Miss Dohnt, Mrs Hayne, Miss Nix, Mrs Beecroft, Miss Shearer, Mrs Clarkson.
Ladies’ junior championship: Miss W. Stalker, Miss Wiggins, Mrs Wearne, Mrs Emery, Mrs Carruthers, Mrs Poole, Mrs Gilliland, Mrs Cross.
