OBITUARY
MR NILS ADOLPH OLSEN.
The death occurred at the Masterton Hospital yesterday after a long illness of Mr Nils Adolph Olsen, at the age of 63 years. The late Mr Olsen was born at Mauriceville and farmed in that district for a number of years He was married at Mauriceville 38 years ago to Miss Annie Christina Weston. Later he moved to Makuri, in the Pahiatua district, where he farmed for 14 years. He served for a period on the Makuri School Committee. Mr Olsen then purchased a property at Ngatea, Hauraki Plains and farmed there for ten years. He returned to the Wairarapa about eighteen months ago with the intention of again farming in this district. Hie health, however, did not permit him to do this and he had been an invalid almost ever since, having been i patient in the Masterton Hospital foi the last year.
He is survived by his wife and one son, Mr P. H. Olsen, of Konini, besides five sisters and one brother. The funeral will take place tomorrow, leaving the chapel of Hyde’s Funeral Service, Ltd., at the conclusion of a service commencing at 2 p.m.. for the Masterton Cemetery.
