MEETING OF COMMITTEE. ("Times-Age” Special.) , At the monthly meeting of the Martinborough School Committee those present were: Messrs H. L. Griffiths (chairman), K. Arthur (secretary), E. Sadd, G. Cotter and R. Lawrence and the Headmaster, D. C. Pryor. The Headmaster reported that the monthly attendance was: Primary roll 197, average 17,3; secondary 40, average 39. Notification was received of the appointment of Miss J. Brash to fill the vacancy caused by the transfer of Miss Hall; also that Mr E. Carey was appointed assistant on the staff during Mr Pryor’s absence at the Educational Institute. Accounts amounting to £lB 19s 4d were passed for payment.
