Miss M. Wardell, Te Whiti, left today on a visit to Auckland. Mrs J. H. S. Lord, Essex Street, Masterton, is visiting Wellington. Mrs R. Vartha is the guest of her sister, Mrs R. Beu, of Morison’s Bush. Mrs R. O. Smith, Lansdowne, who has been staying at Paraparaumu Beach, has returned to Masterton. Mrs E. M. Hodder and family, who have been staying at Paraparaumu, have returned to Masterton. The Misses Cameron, Cole Street, Masterton, have returned from a visit to Mrs E. P. Cameron, Hinakura. Mr and Mrs J. McHattie, of Upper Hutt, are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary today. Mrs Irvine Tansley, who has been staying with Mrs A. H. Daniell, Albert Street, Masterton, has returned to Wellington. Miss Joan Kay, who has been staying with Mrs W. H. Robieson, King Edward Street, Lansdowne, has returned to Wellington. Mrs A. Don, of Hadlow, Masterton, who has been visiting relatives in Auckland, left on Tuesday for Taupo, en route to the South. Misses M. Groves and B. Hooper, of the staff of the public hospital, Pahiatua, are visiting Newman, being the guests of the latter’s parents. Mrs J. Vallance, of Masterton, is spending a holiday in Auckland and is at present the guest of her sister-in-law, Mrs R. P. Price, Tagalad Road, Mission Bay.
