STOCK MARKET

FEILDING SALE LITTLE CHANGE IN PRICES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) FEILDING., May 26. No decided change in prices was apparent at the live stock sale which was held in Feilding today. Moderate yardings of sheep and cattle were forward. Fat sheep were 'slightly back in value on last week’s rates, neither wethers nor ewes revealing much finish. A few pens of good lambs sold well. The demand for store sheep was still sluggish, with anything but the best-quality wether lambs hard to quit. Forward-condi-tioned station cattle made ready sales at satisfactory prices, but the congestion in the beef market was responsiole for still keeping boner cow prices down. Beef was not of very good quality, but, generally, sold readily at unchanged prices.
