INTER-ISLAND VARSITY MATCH. NORTH TEAM SELECTED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. Mr J. H. Parker. Wellington, has chosen the following team to represent the North Island in the inter-island University Rugby football match in Christchurch on June 3: — Full-back: J. Kissel (Victoria College); three-quarters. J. G. Mitchell (Massey College). D. L. M. Martin (Auckland), E. C. Cooney (Auckland); live-eighths, A. Stewart (Massey), A. C. McCrasken (Massey); half-back, G. Rae (Victoria College); forwards, W. Foreman (Auckland), R. Burke (Victoria). R. Hansen (Victoria), L. Drake (Auckland), S. Meads (Victoria), S. McNicol (Victoria), N. Carter (Massey), and R. Armitage (Auckland). Emergencies: A. I. Guild, H. L. McLaren and N. Green, all of Massey College. L. Drake will captain the side, and G. Rae will be vice-captain.

From the inter-island match a team will be selected to represent the New Zealand University against Canterbury on June 5.
