DRUIDS’ LODGE

BUSINESS AT FORTNIGHTLY. MEETING.

At the last fortnightly meeting of the Masterton Druids’ Lodge, held in the Foresters Hall, the A.D. Bro F. Gray presided over a good attendance of members. ' Bro F. B. Pickering reported on a recent meeting of the United Friendly Societies’ Dispensary Board. The secretary reported that ten brethren had declared on the sick benefit of the lodge, and sick pay and accounts amounting to £77 19s lid were passed. The A.D. extended a welcome to several ola members for their -attendance and hoped that they would continue to show an interest in the lodge. During the evening a presentation was made to the A.D. Bro F. Gray, who was recently married. In making the presentation Bro F. B. Pickering referred to the loyal service that Bro Gray had rendered to the lodge, and on behalf of the officers and brethren, he wished both Mr and Mrs Gray every happiness in the future. At the conclusion of lodge business an enjoyable social evening was held.
