The official news agency says that Germany can only draw one conclusion from Mr Chamberlain’s statement, namely, that England is throwing all* her resources into a policy of encirclement against Germany’s vital Continental interests. It is added that Herr Hitler’s speech on Saturday was apparently not understood by the British Government, and therefore "we must vigorously reemphasise that Germany has no intention of waiting till the encirclement net is closed and becomes unbreakable.” ITALIAN WARNING BRITAIN SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED. "LET POLAND REMEMBER." ROME, April 4. The Italian Press warns the States approached by’ Britain to take care. Signor Gayda, writing in the “Giornale d’ltalia,” says: “Let Poland remember’ what happened to the FrancoRussian guarantee to Czechoslovakia and remember the fate of others who felt honoured by British and French friendship—Haile Splassie, Chiang Kai-shek, Negrin. “England’s policy of encirclement of Germany involves a simultaneous blockade of Italy.”
