The Stocks .and Shares hiarkets are - ' very quiet, but the tone, is firmer, with the exception of trans-Atiantics which are irregular/ GOLD MINING RETURNS. White’s Electric dredge reports for the, week ended March 30 a return of ll.oz from 6700 cubic yards worked in 100 hours. Una Hill Corisolidate'd Gold Mines, Ltd., Thames, reports that .during the week ended March 31, . work was, continued on .the. inclined drive, which was advanced 12 feet in good country. The iricline is now 86 feet down from; the. No 4 adit level. . The Barrytown dredge during March ran ,463 hours, and treated 231,000 cubic yards of material for a return of 805 oz of gold. For the period, of two weeks ended March 30 the Molyneux dridge operated 250 hours and recovered 121 ounces.
