SCOUT JAMBOREE
NOTABLE ASSEMBLAGE IN SYDNEY attendance of ten thousand ANTICIPATED. NEW ZEALAND CONTINGENT. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright. SYDNEY, December 22. Preparations for the boy scout jamboree, which begins next Thursday at Bradfield, the northern suburb named after the designer of the harbour bridge are well advanced. Five hundred acres will be under canvas to house 10,000 boy scouts who are arriving from all parts of the world. Huge contracts for catering have been arranged and all essential services have been provided, including a hospital capable of accommodating 60 patients. New Zealand, with 600 scouts, will have the largest visiting representation. Other countries which are sending contingents, are the United States, of America, Canada, Ceylon, England, Wales, France, Hungary, India, Scotland, South Africa and the South Sea Islands.
