COAL STRIKE
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS EXPECTED EARLY RESUMPTION UNLIKELY IN N.S.W. OWING TO ENGINE DRIVERS ATTITUDE. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. (Received This Day, 10.35 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Although an early acceptance of the terms of settlement in the coal strike is expected in all States, it is unlikely that work will be resumed in New South Wales mines for at least a week. One obstacle to an early resumption is the attitude of the engine drivers, who are conducting independent negotiations concerning their log claims.
