RAILWAY CUT
CLAIM BY JAPANESE 800,000 CHINESE CUT OFF FORCES APPROACHING HANKOW By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 10.10 a.m.) TOKIO, October 7. The Japanese claim to have cut the Peking-Hankow railway at Liulin, south of Sinyang. They claim the capture of Liulin and also to have cut off 800,000 Chinese at Sinyang.
The Japanese, north of the Yangtse, have captured Kichun, which is only 80 miles from Hankow.
