N.Z. MEN’S TENNIS TEAM
POSITION OF MANAGER MR H. M. BODDINGTON APPOINTED. A WELL DESERVED HONOUR. Mr H. M. Boddington. of Masterton, has been notified that he has been appointed manager of the New Zealand men’s tennis team which is to visit Australia, leaving on November 11 and returning to New Zealand on December 3. A well-deserved honour has been bestowed upon Mr Boddington by his appointment as manager of the team, and it is in some measure a recognition of the valuable service he has rendered the game of tennis in the Dominion over a long period of years. The team will consist of Messrs A. D. Brown (Auckland), J. W. Gunn (Auckland), J. T. Mayson (Auckland), R. G. Pattinson (Canterbury). Mr Brown is on his return to New Zealand after having narticipated in the tournament at Wimbledon.
