Y.M.C.A. CUP ■ COMPETITION. A play-off between the Catholic Club and Pioneer teams will be necessary to decide the winners of- the billiards and snooker competition for the Y.M.C.A. Cup this year. This game will be played tomorrow night. The following was the position of the various teams at the end of the competition, which concluded last night:—Catholic Club, 15 points; Pioneers, 15 points; Y.M.C.A. A, 12 points; Daniell’s, 10 points; Post Office, 8 points; Y.M.C.A. B. nil.

Last night’s game resulted in a win for Y.M.C.A. A, who defeated Y.M.C.A. B by six games to two. The details are as follow, B players being mentioned first in every case: —Billiards: B. F. Bodie lost to G. Coleman; P. Watson lost to A. McWhinnie; W. Reynolds beat J. Coleman; B. Bodie lost to W. Clarke. Snooker: F. Bodie lost to G. Coleman; P. Watson lost to A. McWhinnie; W. Reynolds beat J. Coleman; B. Bodie lost to W. Clarke. Entries are now being received at the Y.M.C.A. for the Kinvale Cup competition for billiards. This contest will be held on Thursday of next week.
