Barometers have risen considerably over New Zealand and right across the south Tasman Sea. Pressure gradients are slight and there is no sign of any active disturbance in the region. Forecast: Light to moderate and variable wind, with northerly predominating. Weather for most part fine: mild day but cold night temperatures, with some morning fogs and in places light drizzle.
