Death of Mr James Cooper.

The news of the death of Mr James Cooper, who died at Gladstone on Saturday morning about half.past 7, has thrown a gloom over a very wide circle of friends. He came to the Waitatapa ,8 young man and steadily worked upward until he became the owner ot the Taipo's station. Well liked throughout the district his lons is much regretted. He leaves a widow and nine children, eight ot the number being sous. The funeral takes place today.
