Sad Accident.
A sad ace: rent has occurred at Kawakawa, Auckland, Two men, a father and son, named Rase, we*9 Working at $ contract job let by
the Il’v of Islands Conrty Council to R. X* nll u,i, at Kawakawa. While the two men were excavating some earth out of a hole, the son being at work below, some earth tell upon tho poor lad, completely burying him. On extricating him from the debris it was fonud tbit his thigh was broken, the spinal cord at tho back of his neck severed, and his head much braised. Death must have been instantaneous.
