V.J.C and Maftinhorougi* Handicap* done with the Secretary at Martinborough on WEDNESDAY, 17th of November, at 9p m. Weights declared for Handicap Hor dice. Firing, and L.V.J.C. on FRIDAY, December 3rd, at 7 j*.m Acceptances for same on WEDNESDAY, December loth, at 9p.m. Weights for the Martinborough Handicap to bo declared on the coane after the L.V J C, Handicap is run. Acceptances for the name to bo made3o minutes before the raoo takes place. The saddling bell will ring at 11.30 a.m., the first nre to *tsrt at 12 noon sharp. Each race will start paacrually at the time appearing in the correct cards of the race* No scratching of horses allowed except thiouiih the secretary, and not liter thaa thirty minute* before the time of starting. All Entriee and Kooiinations to bo made in writing, scaled and ad* dressed to the Secretary. Entrance mosey to be •Bcfoaed, with color, sex, name, aga and pedigree of the horae, name of the owner and colors of the rider ; in case of protest the same most be lodged with the secretary m writing withm fifteen miuntes after the race is mo, with a deposit of two guineas. Bach deposit to be forfeited if the protest is not sustained. The final payments for the Hardies, Flying, and Ti. V.J.C Handicaps to be made on the course an hoar be fore the appointed time of starting for these events. In all nominations for handicaps the previous performances are to be given. This only applies where horses have not raced in Wairarnpa, and where their performances are not ioeladed in the NZ. Turf lisorl.
