Lomuou, November 21. The Socialist demonstration, as previously arranged, took place in Trafalgar Square this afternoon. Fully 60,C00 persona were present, and the usual Socialist resolutions wen passed. The proceedings passed off without disturbance.

The Queen and the Ptinee of Wales are not satisfied with the dispersion of tbs exhibits intended for the Imperial Institute. It is therefore possible that the question will be reopened. In consequence of the non compliance of the Regency with the request of Russia, tbat the Prefect and the Commandant of Philpopolis should be dismissed owing to the arrest of one of the Russian Consular sere vants, General Kaulbors, the Russian Diplomatic Agent, and the different Russian Consuls throughout Bulgaria and Bonmelia, have left their posts. Russian subject have been placed under the protection of the French Consuls. New has been received that the Bhan tribes are resisting the approach of tbs British expedition which is proceeding to Upper Bnrmab, for the purpose of securing the ruby mines in tbat district, Btdmbi, November 20. Petitions praying for a dissolution of Par. liament, signed by 22,000 persons, have been presented to the Governor, but bis Excellency has declined to grant a dissolution at the present t'me. Adelaide, November 22. The Argus states that the postal conference has decided to adhere to the previous basis agreed upon for a postal contract, viz-, payment for carriage of mails by weight, and to call for fresh tenders for the service.
