The haders of the Socialist organisation have notified to Sir Charles Warren, Chief Commissioner of Police, that there will be a great Socialist display in Trafalgar Square, on Sunday next. They have also forwarded a request to the Marquis of Salisbury that he should remain in town on that day, in order to receive a deputation from the unemployed. Mukhtar Pasha, Turkish Commissioner in Egypt, admits that the immediate evacuation of that country by England is impracticable. November 17. A farther batch of reoidivistes, numbering five hundred, have embarked lor New Caledonia. Alexandria, November 17. News is;to hand from Wady Haifa, on the Nile, that a large body of rebels is hovering about that surrounding country, and it is expected they will shortly renew hostilities. Adelaide, November 17. Reports from Teetulpa continue favorable Two loads of wash dirt have been found to yield one pound weight of gold.
