MELBOURNE WOOL SALE. Melbourne, November 11. Messrs R. Goldsborough & Go. (Limited) held their usual weekly sale yesterday to a large attendance of Home and foreign buyers. Competition lor all lots was brisk. The catalogue comprised 7000 bales, including several well known Riverina and Victorian clips, which realised very satisfactory prices. Good greasy fleece realised lid per lb, good greasy lambs lljd and good scoured is 6£d ; 6700 bales were sold, including clips disposed of privately. The sale was considered the most satisfactory one of the season.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following telegram from their London office, dated 9th instant Wool—Market unchanged. Wheat—the market is firmer. Victorian is worth 85s per 4961b ; N Zealand, average quality, 345, and longbertied 35s per 4961b5. Barley—There is a better market, and New Zealand sorts are in demand at 395. Tallow—Stocks are light, and the market is firm. Good mutton is worth ‘27s ; ditto beef 24s 6d pet cwt. Leather—Market unchanged. Kauri Gum—Medium and inferior qualities are in good demand. Good scraped pale brownish amber is worth 94s per owe: good palish scraped and three parts scraped garbled sorts are worth 68s per cwt; medium half scraped garbled sorts 49s ditto. frozen Meat—Market quiet. New Zealand mutton, weighing per carcass 601bs and 651Gb, is worth 4jrd per lb.
