A SITTING of the Royal Commission appointed to enquire into and report upon the laud claims of Voluntears enrolled between the years 1873 and 1876, as also those of discharged soldiers of Her Majesty’s military and naval forces, and other claims of a like nature from any of the local forces of the colony, will be held at the old Courtroom, Masterton, at ten am. on FRIDAY, sth if November next, when the Comm ssioners will hear evidence in support of all * claims brought before them. Claims in writing should be forwarded to the Secretary of the Royal Commie* sion, addressed Post Office, Masterton, on or before the evening of the 4th of November, setting forth name, and address of claimant, regiment or corps to which he belonged, date of discharge, what application he has made for land or scrip, and to whom, and any other information he may wish to give.
