The Wairarapa Gun Club.
The committee of the Hun Club met at Hammerioh’s Hotel, Grey town, on Saturday afternoon, Mr N. Grace, Vice-President, in the chair. There was a good attendance. On the proposition of Mr Kimberley, seconded by Mr Scale, it was resolved, in accordance with a wish expressed by the members, that the name “ Greytown Gun Club ” be altered to “ Wairarapa Gun Club ” and henceforth the name and style of the club will be “ The Wairarapa Gun Club.”
The secretary (Mr C. Higgins) announced that he had made arrangements with a pigeon dealer in Blenheim respecting a supply of birds and a sufficient quantity would be obtained for the November meeting, Tlte treasurer, Mr B. Kimberley, submitted the balance sheet and statement of accounts and the committee then drew up and adopted the Programme which appears in another column.
