LADIES AND GENTLEMEN,— We beg to thank you for the large amount of patronage you have bestowed on us since opening up as General Storekeepers. When doing so we of course knew we were supplying a long felt want, viz., a Store where goods could be procured at a fair percentage on the wholesale cost, (at the same time we do not profess te Retail goods at Wholesale prices) and we are pleased to see you appreciate our style of doing business. Subjoined we submit a condensed CASH LIST of every day lines. As usual we make TEAS (IBs 6d), a Speciality. We are now m receipt of the New Season’s Teas, which we are doing from 15s 6d to 28s per box, we are also just in receipt of a fresh supply of the celebrated NELSON, MO ATE & CO’S TEAS, in *lb and 11b packets, and 51b and 101b boies, which we do at town prices, thus saving the trouble and expense of sending to town for them. SUGARS. We are still doing Sugars at the old prices, viz., C 10s per 401b bag, or 3d per lb. I.C. 11s 6d 401b bag or 3£d lb. I.W. 12s 6d or 4d lb. SOAP. We have our second shipment of the celebrated Canterbury Soaps to hand and intend to dispose of them at the former prices. The first Crown and American are quite a household word ; we are doing them at 7s 6d and 12s respectively. CANDLES. We have such a large assortment of Candles that it would take too much space to give more particulars than to say they comprise the following brands, and are sold at exceptionally low prices, London Sperm, Egyptian and Battersea Wax, Helois Parafin, Imperial, Brilliants, Bedroom and Pyramids. GLASS & CROCKERYWARE. We have a large assortment of the above, especially in the former, in ornaments, &c., suitable for presents. We have a very large assortment to choose from, and we are disposing of them at very low prices. The IRONMONGERY OEPARTM’NT is well stocked with every requisite. THE GROCERY DEPARTMENT is also well stocked. We have just to hand a well assorted stock of Tinned or Canned FISH Comprising the following: Salmon, Lobster, Mullet, Sardines, Digby Chicks, Oysters Fresh Spiced, Red and Kippered Herrings ; Herrings in Shrimp and Tomato Sauce. Being about to relinquish the DRAPERY AND CLOTHING DEPARTMENTS We intend disposing of the stock at greatly reduced prices. THE BAKING Sc CONFECTIONERY BRANCH of our Business is unsurpassed in the Provincial District. We make WEDD|NG Sc NATAL CAKES a speciality. We also make BROWN BREAD, a speciality. Dr Gilbert declares it to bo in every respect excellent, vide Standaed of the 13th August, 1886 ALL ORDERS PROMPTLY ATTENDED TO, AND DELIVERED TO ANY PART OF THE TOWN-FREE W'e are Purchasers of FARM AND DAIRY PRODUCE And give the Highest Market Price.
