Greytown Fire Brigade.
A meeting of the mamig.-m-ut committee of the Oreytown Volunteer Fire Brigade wai held on Monday evening at the Fire Brigade Station, Captain Maguire in the chair. "The minutes of the previoue meeting were read and confirmed.
Correspondence was read from the Metropolitan Fire Brigade Association if Australasia, re demonstration to be held cu 10th, 11th and 12th of February next, an I also enclosing a prospectus re grand shilling jubilee gift distribution upon that occasion. A letter was read from the Oreytown Town Lands Trust, announcing a refund of the sum of £6 6s (ball hire lor dancing). The Secretary reported having received from Messrs Caselberg and Fuller their subscriptions of £1 Is each. Several accounts were passed for payment.
The circular programme of the Intercolonial JFite Brigades Demonstration, to be held in Dunedin on 22nd and 23rd of February next, was also received.
