Emergencies, C. Varnbam and F. Hawke. Play to start at 8 o’clock. The following are the names of the Materaws team Full back, C. Udy; Ihrae quarter baoka, Oonelly and Clem Udy ; half nooks, E. Udy, Morris, and J. Montgomery; forwards, R. Welch, Aloway, H. Nelson, W. Bay well, Feriok, W. Enowlse, T. Baywell, J. Goalin, and A. Ordiah. Emergencies—For* wards, G. Coleman, and J. The Greytown Clab has challenged the Carterton Football Club to play a match on Saturday, the 24th instant. The team to repreient the Greytown Football Club will be selected from the following Burch, Boydhouse, Byan, F. W. Jackson, Tocker, A. Udy, C. Udy, K. Udy, C. Beard, J. Beard, A. Beard, Hobman, B. Terry, F. Tally, G. Humphries, Fisher, W. Humphries, H. Fully, C. Vaiuhan, and F. Hawke. The second football m»toh New South Walts v Otago played on Monday at Dunedin resulted iu another win for the New Zealand* era by 9 points to love. Thu Otago team were altogether different to that which played the visitors last Saturday. The New South Wales team play Canterbury again to day, and Wellington on Saturday, Next week they play at Napier, and on the following Saturday again try conclusions With Auckland. The last named wilt ba their final match, as they leave for Sydney on the following day.
