NOTICE is hereby given that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Council will be held on SATURDAY, 9th day of October, at noon, at which it will be proposed to pass a special order adopting the following BYE LAWS, viz. : Bye Law No* 2 Regulating that all Vehicles travelling the public Roads within the Wairarapa West County between the hours of sun. set and sunrise shall carry at least one light affixed to the driver’s aide and providing a penalty not exceeding £'s for any contravention thereof; said Bye Law to come into farce on Ist day of January, 1887. Bye Law No. 3. Regulating the uae and conduct of Abattoirs and Slaughterhouses in the Wairarapa West County, providing that Slaughterhouses be licensed under an annual license fee of £1 for the keeping of a Register by the licensee for the management of of oattle intended for slaughter, etc-, etc, and providing a penalty not exceeding £5 for every contra, vention of this Bye Law which shell come into force on the Ist da/ of January, 1867.
