Dynamite Accident.

Invercargill, Tuesday. An alarming accident occurred on the unemployed section of the Seaward Bash Line yesterday. A man named Patrick Hogan was softening dynamite in warm water lot the uurpose of blowing up tree stamps, and was in the act of attaching a cap, when the matter exploded. Fortunately Hogan missed the direct force of tbe charge, but it sent a lot of tin utensils flying about tbo hut, and Hogan was seriously cut about the face and arm. His trousers were completely torn off, but oddly without injuring the skin. He has been removed to the Hospital, and is doing well.
