The following ire the result# of examine* tion of Volnntaer Offioen which was held is the Wairarapa dietriot lut month :—Captain A Donald, of the Featheriton Biflee, obtained 675 point*, out of amaximam of 760 ; Lieat D A Smith, of the tame oorpe, obtained 437 ont of a poaaibla 600, and Lieot W Benton, 419, ont of 600 obtainable. Lirat W Moore (Carterton Biflaa) recorded 648 point*, Lieut A O Thompeon (Moeterton Biflaa) 681, and Captain Porritt, (Oapt. Qreytown Oadeta, and acting Lien tenant Qiejtown Biflaa), 634, the mazimnm being 760 in each of tnaea eaaea. All the candidate* except Lieat* Smith and Benton hare qualified lor captain*’ commie* siona. Colonel Butt* and Major Bonny were the examining officer*.
