Mr Macandrew’s Resolutions Shelved
During the very last minutes of tue session Mr Maoaudrew brought forward bis resolutions relative to land for the unemployed, and rnnde a short speech in moving them. The Trcmier began to speak in np‘v. hut at that moment the summons came from the Lords to a’kni the prorogation, so members sou tiled away, the Premier collapsed, and Mr idinmndtew’s resolutions were shelved for another year. That is a pity, beoause Mr Macanurev's scheme was sound in principle, and would have helped to remedy a great evil.
