The New Zealand Loan and Merchantile Agency Company Limited have received the following telegram from their London office, dated Gth instWool—Competition is increasing, and quotations are on an average id to id per lb better than at the opening of the sales, except for New Zea land medium and inferior greasy for which the market is unchanged ; fine washed crossbred, coarse greasy crossbred, and lambs, are also unchanged. The total quantity catalogued to date is 227,000 bales; Wheat—Growing crops are backward, but prospects are improving. Market depressed.
