Railway Accident in Tasmania.

PROMINENT MEN SERIOUSLY INJURED. Hobart, Jaly 1. Whiles special train was returning (rem the opening of the railway to Fingal, yesterday, it left the rails at a place about twenty miles from this city, and became a complete wreck, The engine was shattered, the driver being killed on the spot, and the stoker has since died of injuries received. Two carriages were telescoped. Amongst the passengers, Mr Dodds (Attorney-General), Mr Burgess (Colonial Treasurer), the Mayor and six aldermen, the Press representatives, and several others were more or less seriously injured. The President, Dr Agnew, was severely shaken.
