KIMBERLEY GOLD-FIELDS.
From a Uttar which we (Auckland Bell), bare received from one of the passengers who left in the Kotomahana for Sydney en route lor Kimberley, we take the following. U is dated 25th May :--Sir,—We got clear of (be Botomahaua early this morning. Ahont 50 of ua rashed to the A S N. Go's office with a view of obtaining c ar fare or passage to Kimberley ; we were told it was full. No passage coaid be obtained. The Victoria will sail to morrow. The Afghan s.s. sailed to-day with 250 horses, drays, pack saddles, and stores. Any amount of passengers ventured to sleep on' deck, and pay £8 for that privilege. The Gmnbia left on last Satardsy, overcrowded with horses and men, also stores. I uev, r witnessed such excitement. Another boat is laid on, chartered by a storekeeper I have not had time yet to ascertain her name. She will sail about the 27th inst. We mast mike a rash for her tomorrow. Twelve thousand ounces of gold casta down by escort May Btb. Everyone here ■asms to be greatly excited over this goldfield. How it will end I do not know."
