Later News of the Eruptions.
Tug latest news about the volcanic eruptions considerably toues down tbe alarming statements previously received. There is nothing stated about the previously reported loss of forty lives of Europeans. Yet that statement was positively made in the first telegrams. The loss of property is, however, considerable and a number of Natives have been killed. It is also stated that the white and pink terraces are uninjured.
