Ail entries must be made subject to the condition all disputes, claims and objections arising out of the racing shah be decided ty a majority of Stewards ° r w kom they may appoint, and that such decision shall be final and binding in all leases. Nominations for Handicap Hurdle Race, Birthday Handicap, and Clareville Handicap, to be made in writing, stating name, pedigree, performances, destnpiion, and age of horse, and the colors of the rider, and to !►« sent in accompanied by the nomination fee to the Hon. Secretary, G. W. Deller, Carterton, on or before THURSDAY, 29th Apeil, 1886, at 9 p.m. weights to he declared on FRIDAY, 7th Mat, 1886, and published in the local newspapers. Acceptances and General Entries to be made on or before MONDAY, 24th Mat, 1886, at 9 p.m. Three entries or the public money will be withheld. No protest will he considered unless lodged with the Secretary, within ten minutes after the race, accompanied by a deposit of two {K>unds, which shall be forfeited if the stewards are of opinion that the protest is frivolous or vexatious. All jockeys to ride in the colors nominated or a fine of 1 sov. will be enforced. The saddling bell will ling at II a.m„ first race to start at 1 1 30 sharp. The rules of the Club to apply in all cases, where not provided for in this programme. A horse to run in the Hack and Hack Hurdle Races, must comply with the following conditions, G-J R must be in actual use as a ‘bona fide’ hack.
