Volunteers.

The annual meeting of tins company <u held at the Town Hull Uhl mglit, Captain Webster iti the chair.

The minutes of the last annual meeting were read ami couliiuieJ. The balance sheet which anpe n» in another column was also read ai d adopted, , n the motion of Lieut I'urntt seconded he Vol Fisher.

The following committee of management were ek"ted for the ensuing year;— The officers an 1 Secretary (cx officio) Bcrgt Willason, Carp Maguire, V'ols Varnlmui, Fisher and U, Humphries. The Shouting Committee consists of the officers and Col Sergt Trotman, Sergt Willusou, and Yolg J. Humphries and Fisher.

Lieut Cameron brought forward his notice of motion re uniform as follows:—That the capitation allowance becomes the property ol the company, and that every member on joining the corps shall receive a uniform on payment of live shillings and a subscription of one shilling per mouth until|the uniform is jiaid for by his capitation, when the uniform will become the volunteer s own property and subscriptions will cease." The motion was carried unanimously. It was resolved that the present uniform be adopted with the addition ol helmets until the company is iu a more satisfactory condition. Then a full dress uniform may be obtained.

Resolved that|helmets be procured at once. Resolved that the shooting season should end on the first Saturday in April each year.
